Jerry Seinfeld's Cyber Series: Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee Season 2

[Press Release] Jerry Seinfeld's “COMEDIANS IN CARS GETTING COFFEE” – SEASON 2

Back for a second season, the uproarious comedy series created, written and produced by Jerry Seinfeld, will include guests David Letterman, Sarah Silverman, Chris Rock, Don Rickles, and more. Crackle was one of the last platforms to give its pitch to advertisers at Digital Content Newfronts.

Eric Berger, who serves as GM for the Sony Pictures Entertainment property, announced a few new original programs, the renewal of a few more, the arrival of Crackle’s first feature-length film, and the upcoming release of the first direct-to-Internet sequel for a wide release film.

Crackle’s most notable original, Jerry Seinfeld’s Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee, featured prominently in the presentation, with Seinfeld recording an introductory video and Berger revealing the show’s second season trailer, which will feature Sarah Silverman, Chris Rock, and several others.

The original ten-episodes of the web series, released between July and September, 2012, featured Seinfeld's conversations with comedy greats including Ricky Gervais, Michael Richards, Alec Baldwin and Larry David. The series garnered rave reviews and delivered more than 10 million streams.

"This series was basically a silly, fun experiment in making a talk show where the host only talks to people when he wants to. And only while engaging in a meaningless activity. I don't know if the idea was created by all the newly available technology to do it or vice versa. It certainly wouldn't have been possible just a couple of years earlier," said Seinfeld. "But I loved the freedom of form and just shooting it direct to the audience. My old friends at Sony took care of every possible issue and just made it all a pleasure. The response was great without us doing any ads or promotion and so we're going to keep going. I like this new world."

"We are thrilled to continue working with Jerry on more episodes of Comedians in Cars," said Eric Berger, executive vice president of digital networks for Sony Pictures Television and general manager of Crackle. "It's a privilege to bring this terrific show to our audiences across all of our distribution platforms, and to be able to offer advertisers the unique opportunity to position their brands amidst his creative genius."

"…impressively complex and artful," says the New York Times about Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.

"Is "Comedians" a gamechanger?" asks Variety. "At first blush, it would seem so."
"Leave it to the guys who mastered 'the show about nothing' to bring that sensibility to digital platforms."

Jerry Seinfeld is the executive producer of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, which is produced by Embassy Row. Seinfeld, the comedy series co-created by Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David was named the Greatest Sitcom Of All Time last month by a Vanity Fair/60 Minutes poll.

Perception, Starring Eric McCormack, Season 2 Premieres Tuesday June 25 10PM ET/9PM Central on TNT

[TNT Press Release]
America's Favorite Quirky Crime-Solver Returns Tuesday, June 25 In an All-New Season of Perception, Starring Eric McCormack

Class is back in session, and crime is on the as TNT's hit drama Perception returns for its second mind-bending season. Starring Emmy® and Screen Actors Guild Award® winner Eric McCormack (Will & Grace, Who Is Clark Rockefeller?), Perception ranked as cable's second-highest rated new drama of 2012, coming in just behind TNT's Major Crimes. The second season is slated to launch Tuesday, June 25, at 10 p.m. (ET/PT), following the season premiere of TNT's hit series Rizzoli & Isles.

In Perception, McCormack plays Dr. Daniel Pierce, a unique and eccentric neuroscience professor whose paranoid schizophrenia helps him solve crimes for the FBI. Rachael Leigh Cook (She's All That) co-stars as FBI agent and former student Kate Moretti, who recruits Pierce to help her with her toughest cases. Unlike her colleagues, Kate is willing to look past Daniel's peculiarities.

As the second season of Perception opens, Pierce's personal life is even more complicated than usual. He finds it difficult to walk away from his imaginary friendship with Natalie Vincent, but he must do so in order to embark on a romance with his doctor, Caroline Newsome – both played by Kelly Rowan (The O.C.).

Award-winning actor LeVar Burton (Roots, Star Trek: The Next Generation) returns in season two as Pierce's best friend, Paul Haley, who serves as dean at the university. Perception also stars Arjay Smith (The Day After Tomorrow) as Max Lewicki, Pierce's teaching assistant whose primary job is to keep Pierce in line and on task.

In season two, Scott Wolf (Party of Five, V, Everwood) guest-stars as Donnie, Kate's soon-to-be ex-husband – and colleague. A charismatic, fast-rising Assistant U.S. Attorney who recently transferred back to Chicago, Donnie seems less concerned with doing what's right than with doing what's right for Donnie. While he claims his transfer back to Chicago was completely random, it's clear he has a hidden agenda involving Kate.

Perception averaged 6.2 million viewers in its first season, ranking as cable's #2 new series of 2012. It also placed among basic cable's Top 10 new or returning original series.

Perception, which comes to TNT from ABC Studios, was created by executive producer Ken Biller (Star Trek: Voyager, Smallville) and co-executive producer Mike Sussman (Star Trek: Enterprise), with McCormack serving as producer. Sean Whitesell and Amanda Green serve as co-executive producers.

THE MICHAEL J. FOX SHOW Shooting On NYC's Upper West Side Premieres Fall 2013 on NBC

[NBC Press Release]
“THE MICHAEL J. FOX SHOW”
Still got it...Michael J. Fox returns to NBC in a new comedy from writer and executive producer Sam Laybourne ("Cougar Town") and executive producer Will Gluck ("Easy A"). Half-hour comedy (single-camera).

Look who’s making the news again. One of New York’s most beloved news anchors, Mike Henry (Michael J. Fox, “Spin City,” “Family Ties”), put his career on hold to spend more time with his family and focus on his health after he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. But five years later, with the kids busy growing up and Mike growing restless, it just might be time for him to get back to work.

Having never wanted Mike to leave in the first place, his old boss Harris Green (Wendell Pierce, “The Wire,” “Treme”) jumped at the chance to get him back on TV. The trick, as it’s always been, was to make Mike think it was his idea. Now the plan is in motion and Mike will be back to juggling home, family, and career — just like the old days, but only better.

Writer Sam Laybourne (“Cougar Town”), director Will Gluck (“Easy A,” “Friends with Benefits”) and Fox serve as executive producers. “The Michael J. Fox Show” is a production of Sony Pictures Television and Olive Bridge Entertainment.

The Authority is in flames. TruBlood is in short supply. As Bill comes to terms with his newfound powers after emerging reincarnated from a pool of blood, humans are in open conflict with vampires like never before. Meanwhile, Sookie and Jason must steel themselves for an encounter with their parents' killer: the mysterious and ancient Warlow.

The hit series TRUE BLOOD kicks off its ten-episode sixth season SUNDAY, JUNE 16 (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT), exclusively on HBO, followed by other new episodes on subsequent Sundays at the same time. The series follows waitress and part-faerie Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin), who can hear people's thoughts, vampire Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) and vampire Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgård). Alan Ball (creator of the Emmy(R)-winning HBO series "Six Feet Under") created the show, which is based on the bestselling Sookie Stackhouse novels by Charlaine Harris.

Other returning cast members on TRUE BLOOD include: Ryan Kwanten as Sookie's trouble-prone brother, Jason Stackhouse; Rutina Wesley as Pam's newly-turned progeny, Tara Thornton; Sam Trammell as Sookie's shape-shifting boss, Sam Merlotte; Nelsan Ellis as Tara's clairvoyant sharp-tongued cousin, Lafayette Reynolds;

Michael McMillian as vampire Steve Newlin; Lucy Griffiths as Nora, a former chancellor of the Vampire Authority; Kelly Overton as werewolf Rikki; and Anna Camp as anti-vampire crusader Sarah Newlin.

New cast members for season six include: Arliss Howard as La. Governor Truman Burrell; Rob Kazinsky as Ben, a stranger with faerie ties; Rutger Hauer as Niall, a faerie grandfather; Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Nicole, a pro-vampire activist; and Amelia Rose-Blaire as Truman Burrell's daughter, Willa.

Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) and Nora (Lucy Griffiths) flee the Authority compound as Sam (Sam Trammell), Luna (Janina Gavankar) and Emma (Chloe Noelle) dodge swarming guards.

Now packmaster, Alcide (Joe Manganiello) discovers that the job comes with unsavory side dishes, but other major perks. For its linear telecast, Devious Maids will be available in Spanish to standard definition viewers via the second audio program service. Regarding the announcement, Rob Sharenow, Executive Vice President, General Manager, of Lifetime, noted, "We are thrilled to work with our distribution partners on making Devious Maids available in both English and Spanish to maximize the show's crossover appeal among the broadest range of their customers.

For its linear telecast, Devious Maids will be available in Spanish to standard definition viewers via the second audio program service. Regarding the announcement, Rob Sharenow, Executive Vice President, General Manager, of Lifetime, noted, "We are thrilled to work with our distribution partners on making Devious Maids available in both English and Spanish to maximize the show's crossover appeal among the broadest range of their customers."

Devious Maids' all-star cast, Ana Ortiz (Ugly Betty), Dania Ramírez (Entourage), Roselyn Sánchez (Without a Trace), Edy Ganem (Livin' Loud) and Judy Reyes (Scrubs), portray five maids with ambition and dreams of their own while working for the rich and famous in Beverly Hills. In the series, murder and mayhem collide in the mansions of Beverly Hills' wealthiest and most powerful families. Class warfare has never been as fun and dirty as it is in the tony enclave where the staff is as clever, witty, outrageous and downright devilish as their employers. Whoever holds the dirt holds the power, and before the season is over, illicit affairs will be revealed and deep dark secrets exposed as we learn the sordid details behind a shocking murder of a beloved housemaid.

Devious Maids' centers on a close-knit group of maids who are bonded together by their jobs, life struggles and the melodramatic "upstairs-downstairs" universe that engulfs their employers. Rosie (Ramírez), a widow who left her son back in Mexico when her husband died, works as the maid and nanny for a pair of self-absorbed and successful actors, Peri and Spence Westmore (Mariana Klaveno, True Blood, and Grant Show, Swing Town). Aspiring singer Carmen (Sánchez), hopes that her pop star employer Alejandro (Matt Cedeño, Days of Our Lives) can help jump-start her career, but Odessa (Melinda Page Hamilton, Mad Men), his very loyal housekeeper and her boss, will stop at nothing to stand in her way. Zoila (Reyes) is the senior maid for Genevieve Delatour (Susan Lucci, (All My Children), a co-dependent, emotionally unstable wealthy woman. She works alongside her teen daughter Valentina (Ganem), who has a crush on Genevieve's handsome son, Remi (Drew Van Acker, Pretty Little Liars). Wolé Parks (Gossip Girl) as Sam Alexander is a trusted aide to Alejandro Rubio, and a jack-of-all trades. On any given day, he finds himself playing the role of butler, driver, handy-man, and confidante. Sam makes it no secret that he has a crush on Carmen, which ultimately leaves him vulnerable to her charms.

In the series premiere, the women turn to one another for support when their friend and fellow maid Flora (Paula Garcés, CSI Miami) is brutally murdered at the home of her employers, Evelyn and Adrian Powell (Rebecca Wisocky, American Horror Story, and Tom Irwin, Grey's Anatomy), at one of the largest society events of the year. Meanwhile, newcomer Marisol (Ortiz) is hired to clean the home of Taylor and Michael Stappord (Brianna Brown, Homeland, and Brett Cullen, Damages), a newlywed couple with a complicated love history. But Marisol has ulterior motives and when someone she loves becomes wrapped up in Flora's murder, she goes undercover to learn the truth.

Inspired by the hit telenovela, Ellas son la Alegría del Hogar (They Are The Joy Of Home), Devious Maids is produced by ABC Studios. The series was created by Marc Cherry (Desperate Housewives) and is executive produced by Cherry, Sabrina Wind (Desperate Housewives), Eva Longoria (Desperate Housewives), Paul McGuigan (Scandal), Larry Shuman (Kissing Miranda), David Lonner, John Mass and Televisa USA's Paul Presburger and Michael Garcia.

Season three of Falling Skies is scheduled to launch with a special two-hour premiere Sunday, June 9, at 9 p.m. (ET/PT). It will then move into its regular timeslot, Sunday nights at 10 p.m.

As the new season of Falling Skies opens, seven months have passed since the survivors of the 2nd Mass reached Charleston, which has been named capital of the New United States.

Now elected to public office, Tom (Wyle) has taken a more aggressive approach to the alien occupation than former leader Dr. Manchester. The government has formed a tenuous alliance with a band of rebel skitters who now paint their faces with a red and yellow stripe before battle in honor of Red Eye, their fallen leader. Tom's son Ben (Jessup) serves as the mediator between Mason and the rebel skitters.

But the alliance may not be enough to overpower the enemy Espheni, whose forces are now being led by an even more sinister overlord. To complicate matters further, another race of aliens has just entered the battlefield. Charleston also faces dangers from within its own walls. Recent battle losses have convinced Tom and the military that there may be a mole feeding strategic plans to the Espheni. Despite the threats they face, the survivors living in

Charleston are doing their best to rebuild their lives. Dr. Glass (Bloodgood) and Tom are focusing on their growing family. Newly promoted to Colonel of the 2nd Mass, Weaver (Patton) is enjoying a renewed relationship with his daughter. Hal (Roy) is recovering from mysterious injuries he suffered while trying to destroy an alien super weapon. Meanwhile, his romantic pursuit of Maggie (Carter) is finally starting to see positive results, though she has a growing concern that something is wrong with him beyond mere battle injuries. And Pope (Cunningham), the non-conformist leader of the Berserkers, has set up his own little Popetown on the outskirts of Charleston.

Among the guest stars set to appear this season on Falling Skies, Doug Jones portrays Cochise; leader of the rebel alien troops, Gloria Reuben will play Marina Perlata, one of Tom's key aides.

Robert Sean Leonard is slated to guest-star as Roger Kadar, an obsessive but gifted scientist who runs the local power grid and lives underground, earning him the nickname "The Rat King."

Stephen Collins will also appear in the third season as Benjamin Hathaway, the President of the United States prior to the alien invasion. And Terry O'Quinn returns to guest star as Dr. Manchester, Tom's former mentor and his predecessor as Charleston's leader.

Falling Skies debuted on TNT in summer 2011 and ranked as basic cable’s #1 new series of the year. The show returned last summer, garnering 5.6 million viewers and ranking as basic cable's #1 summer drama with adults 25-54 (3 million).

"Mistresses," a provocative and thrilling drama about the scandalous lives of a sexy and sassy group of four girlfriends, each on her own path to self-discovery, is based on the hit UK television series of the same name. In the premiere, "Pilot,"
Savannah ("Savi") is a successful career woman working toward the next phase in her life -- both professionally and personally -- bucking for partner at the law firm where she works while also trying to start a family with her husband, Harry.

But when their fertility issues begin to take center stage, Savi finds herself attracted to her flirtatious colleague, Dominic. Savi's free-spirited and capricious baby sister, Josslyn, couldn't be more different, living single, serial dating and partying. A real estate agent, Josslyn has no interest in a committed, long-term relationship.

Their common best friend, April, is a recent widow and mother of a ten-year-old daughter. After she receives her late husband's lucrative life insurance check, she begins getting prank phone calls and tells her closest girlfriends that she's convinced her husband is still alive. Another long-time friend, Karen, is a therapist with her own thriving practice, reconnecting with the girls after her involvement in a complicated relationship with a wealthy, married patient goes too far: She was having an affair with a terminally ill client to whom she had prescribed morphine.

These four friends find support and guidance with each other as they brave their turbulent journeys and life's storms of excitement, secrecy and betrayal, all the while bound by the complex relationships they've created.

"Mistresses" stars Alyssa Milano as Savannah ("Savi") Davis, Yunjin Kim as Karen Kim, Rochelle Aytes as April Malloy, Jes Macallan as Josslyn Carver, Brett Tucker as Harry Davis, Jason George as Dominic Taylor and Erik Stocklin as Sam Grey.

"Pilot" guest stars Penelope Ann Miller as Elizabeth Grey, John Schneider as Thomas Grey, Shannyn Sossamon as Alex, Cameron Bender as Richard, Kate Beahan as Miranda and Sunkrish Bala as Hamid. "Pilot" teleplay was written by K.J. Steinberg. Cherie Nowlan directed.

The series is executive-produced by Rina Mimoun ("Privileged," "Gilmore Girls"), K.J. Steinberg ("Gossip Girl"), Robert Sertner ("Revenge," "No Ordinary Family") and Douglas Rae ("Wuthering Heights," "Camelot," "Mistresses," "Raw," "Meadowlands"). The series is from ABC Studios.

"Mistresses" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format with 5.1 channel surround sound. This program carries a TV-14,D,S parental guideline.
