Grimm Season 3 Episode 1 "The Ungrateful Dead" Premieres Friday 10~25~2013 on NBC 9PM ET

[NBC/Universal Press Release]

"The Ungrateful Dead" is the first episode of Season 3 of Grimm and the forty-fifth episode overall. It is scheduled to air on October 25, 2013 9PM ET on NBC.

A panicked Juliette, Monroe, and Rosalee enlist Hank’s help in fending off a zombie hoard while trying to figure out what happened to Nick. Knowing the truth, Captain Renard takes measures to help rescue Nick from the clutches of his brother, Eric. Elsewhere, along with the help of the mysterious Stefania, Adalind finds herself facing her most gruesome task yet in her effort to regain her Hexenbiest abilities.

"Grimm" is a drama series inspired by the classic Grimm Brothers’ Fairy Tales. After Portland homicide detective Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli, “Caroline and Jackie”) discovers he’s descended from an elite line of criminal profilers known as ‘Grimms,’ he increasingly finds his responsibilities as a detective at odds with his new responsibilities as a Grimm.

Now that Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch, “Parkland”) has learned Nick’s secret, he can bring her into the fold with his partner Hank (Russell Hornsby, “Lincoln Heights”) and his Wesen friends Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell, “My Name is Earl”) and Rosalee (Bree Turner, “The Ugly Truth”). Following the events of season two, Nick will learn his abilities have grown exponentially. Unfortunately, so have the dangers, and he now will need all the help he can get to bring order to Portland’s Wesen community.

In Europe, major events have begun to unfold on behalf of the Royals. Nick’s Captain, Sean Renard (Sasha Roiz, “Pompeii”), has done what he can about his estranged family while working stateside, but may find himself needing to take a long overdue trip across the Atlantic. Also overseas is Adalind (Claire Coffee, “Franklin and Bash”), who continues her quest to regain her Hexenbiest powers by using the biggest bargaining chip she has – her unborn child.

Reggie Lee (“The Dark Knight Rises”) returns as the ever-sarcastic Sgt. Wu. His time spent working with Nick and Hank may finally cause him to change his tone, however, when he sees more than he can handle.

“Grimm” is a Universal Television and Hazy Mills production. The series was created by David Greenwalt & Jim Kouf and Stephen Carpenter. Sean Hayes, Todd Milliner (NBC’s “Sean Saves the World” and “Hot in Cleveland”) and Norberto Barba (”The Bridge”) serve as executive producers along with Greenwalt and Kouf.

Witches of East End on Lifetime October 6 2013 10PM ET

[Lifetime Network Press Release]

The witching hour is coming. Get ready to meet the Beauchamps, the "Witches of East End."

Lifetime’s newest drama, "Witches of East End," featuring an all-star cast headlined by Emmy Award-winner Julia Ormond ("Temple Grandin," "Mad Men"), Mädchen Amick ("Mad Men," "Damages"), Jenna Dewan Tatum ("American Horror Story") and Rachel Boston ("In Plain Sight") as a family of witches living in the secluded seaside town of East Haven, will cast its spell beginning Sunday, October 6 at 10:00pm ET/PT. Also set to star are Eric Winter ("The Mentalist"), Daniel DiTomasso ("CSI"), Jason George ("Grey’s Anatomy") and Oscar and Golden Globe Award nominee Virginia Madsen ("Sideways," "Anna Nicole").

Inspired by Melissa de la Cruz’s New York Times best-selling novel, "Witches of East End" centers on the mysterious Beauchamp family: free-spirited artist Joanna (Ormond) and her two grown daughters, wild-child bartender Freya (Dewan Tatum) and shy librarian Ingrid (Boston), both of whom are unaware that they are gifted (and cursed) with a magical birthright. Freya is recently engaged to the man of her dreams, wealthy playboy Dash Gardiner (Winter), but when she finds herself inexplicably drawn to Dash’s troubled, enigmatic brother Killian (DiTomasso), bizarre occurrences begin to manifest in her life.

Meanwhile, Joanna’s long-estranged sister Wendy (Amick) shows up with a warning that could change the Beauchamps’ fate forever, forcing Joanna to reveal to her daughters that they are, indeed, immortal witches who possess great untapped powers. With their idyllic small-town life now turned upside down, and a formidable and ancient enemy intent on ending the Beauchamp family line, will Freya and Ingrid be able to accept their true potential before it is too late?

Produced by Fox 21 ("Homeland," "Sons of Anarchy"), "Witches of East End" is executive produced by Maggie Friedman ("Eastwick"), Jonathan Kaplan ("Without a Trace," "ER"), Erwin Stoff ("The Matrix") and Josh Reims ("Brothers & Sisters"). Kaplan will also serve as the producing director on the series. The pilot was directed by Mark Waters ("Mean Girls") and written by Friedman.
