Dody Goodman 10~28~1914 ~ 6~22~2008

Taken from us at age 93* is still too soon...
Ms. Goodman
had an extensive body of work
dating back to the 1950s, but she will be most memorable to me [and i'm guessing to most visitors to In A Lather] as Mrs. Martha Shumway, mother to Norman Lear's iconic 1970s housewife Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman.

Thanks to weezer345281
and thekatna at YouTube for the clips

*Throughout her career, Ms Goodman purportedly fudged on her age. Some reports list her age at the time of her death as 92.
