i am smitten. Completely, unabashedly, irrevocably, with Lucy Merriam, All My Children's Emma.
Not only is she a cutie, she is a very good actress who is capable of crying on cue, she's funny, and does quite well in serious moments too, thank you.
Her real life parents obviously have good heads on their shoulders, and have raised Lucy and her brother Joseph well. i'm not familiar with her brother's work, but the brat factor seems to be at zero for Lucy, and i'm guessing the same applies to her sib.
Apparently i'm not the only one who is enamoured of Miss Lucy---here's fan sweetmiranda4's YouTube tribute to her, featuring recording artist Jesse McCartney who portrayed young J.R. Chandler a few years back.
One of Lucy's interests is the U.S. Navy's Blue Angels. These are for you sweetheart XXXOOO

Lucy and her brother both loved your clip art page on the jets--I'm printing a copy out for both of them for an upcoming journey. Will keep them busy. Many thanks and we'll visit again.

I have a 5 year old daughter that gets mistaken as Emma from AMC all the time now. The funniest part is her name is Emma !
I agree Lucy is darling ~!
To Mom to Emma: What a fun story, thanks for sharing and stopping by :-)
I want to say that Lucy is really doing a wonderful job in this current storyline! The scenes in the safe house with all the various people coming in to try to talk to her...she was wonderful in her reactions, both verbally and non-verbally! And, she is just lovely too.
Hi digssweets, thanks for stopping by.
i'm about a month behind in my soap [ahem---i mean daytime drama :-)] viewing, but i did catch a bit of Lucy's current storyline on a teaser ad.
You mentioned her non-verbal reactions. That is one of my favorite things about her performances, she's always very much in the moment. There's an intensity and sincerity about her work that really makes it a treat [even in sad or scary scenes] to watch.
