Nip/Tuck Season 6 Airs Tuesday January 6, 2009 10:00pm On FX

We now have an official [yes f'real this time] date for Nip/Tuck season 6. Set those VCRs, Tivos, etc., for Tuesday January 6, 2009 10:00pm.

In other Nip/Tuck news: Whoohoo! Yes, i am vindicated. Not that i doubted my sources. As you may recall, a few posts back i had taken the mainstream press to task for what i perceived as inaccuracies in their reportage regarding the number of remaining Nip/Tuck seasons. In the summer of 2008 after the conclusion of Nip/Tuck's 5th season, despite the FX network giving a series end-date of 2011, the mainstream press reported that Nip/Tuck's 6th season would also be it's last. i, in an attempt to set the record straight and alleviate the panic that was spreading amongst the fiercely devoted fans, said that information was incorrect. And now Nip/Tuck creator Ryan Murphy has vetted my information as correct:

"All three of the remaining seasons should be watched as separate seasons"
