Syfy Channel hit by a tweeting tsunami in response to their original movie Sharknado

Trending all evening, it amassed 387,000 mentions across social media platforms. Those numbers make "Sharknado" SyFy network's most social telecast ever. It was also the most social program on all of television Thursday."
If you missed it don't be bummed Syfy will air an encore broadcast of Sharknado, Thursday, July 18, 2013 at 7PM ETPT/6C.
